My Story
Beth (she/they) is a doctoral candidate working on her dissertation exploring the intersection of self-regulated learning and resilience in early adolescence. She has experience with the theoretical domains of self-regulation, motivation, research-practice partnerships, and school violence. Methodologically, she has strong foundations across quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches, but especially loves being able to talk to students about their experiences with learning.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Beth is an avid hiker, reader, and tabletop gamer. If, somehow, you don't find her engaging in a nerdy hobby, she's probably busy spoiling her friends' pets.
